Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking five Study Ambassadors to serve as trusted voices for the East Palestine Train Derailment Health Research Program. Ambassadors will help connect residents of East Palestine, Ohio, and nearby communities with learning about and participating in the study, and will communicate ongoing research findings to the public.

• Lives in, works in, or has strong ties to East Palestine or the surrounding Ohio and Pennsylvania communities.
• Known and trusted within the community, with a genuine interest in the health of friends and neighbors.
• Comfortable starting conversations and speaking with people from all walks of life.
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on commitments.
• Able to respect participant privacy and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Willing to complete required training before beginning outreach.
• At least 18 years of age.
