Job summary

Operation Food Search in St. Louis seeks a highly organized Child Nutrition Operations Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations and administrative tasks for CACFP, SFSP, and Operation Backpack programs.

You will coordinate orders, inventory, routes, and deliveries while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. You will also recruit and train volunteers, assist with route planning, and ensure DHSS-compliant documentation with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of operations, retail, driving, or logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily orders for CACFP and SFSP programs and pack, label, and stage meals for delivery the next day.
• Communicate inventory needs to the program manager and replenish as needed.
• Collaborate to create weekly/monthly menus for CACFP, SFSP, and Operation Backpack programs.
• Plan routes for daily delivery needs with the program manager and delivery driver.
• Assist with delivery and pickup of meals as needed.
• Schedule, recruit, train, and lead volunteers to pack for programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse workspace.
• Safely operate pallet jack and dolly for moving inventory.
