Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry is seeking a part-time Operations & Facilities Coordinator to oversee daily operations for high-volume food distributions. You will manage inventory, ensure safety and sanitation, and support volunteers while coordinating back-of-house and guest-facing activities with dignity and compassion.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role requires flexibility for early deliveries and occasional evenings or weekends to support programs, home deliveries, and

Competenze

• Operational reliability and flexibility to work early mornings and some evenings/weekends.
• Ability to lead or support volunteers and ensure safety and standards.
• Strong organizational skills to track inventory and supply needs.
• Excellent communication with a diverse community of guests, staff, and volunteers.

Mansioni

• Receive and process deliveries and donations; perform inventory checks and FIFO rotations.
• Coordinate distribution session logistics and guest registration with dignity and respect.
• Lead volunteer training and provide support to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Oversee facility sanitation and waste management to maintain clean, safe spaces.
• Contribute to staff meetings and help improve operational workflows.
