Job summary

CCCU is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer in Oregon to guide members through real estate loan applications and credit considerations. This noncommission position emphasizes member service and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

You will grow the loan portfolio, analyze credit data, and coordinate closings while mentoring junior staff, all within a community-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Preferably experience in a credit union, financial institution, or membership-based organization.
• Experience implementing process improvements that enhance member experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow the mortgage loan portfolio by outreaching to realtors, contractors, and industry partners.
• Interview loan applicants and guide members through the mortgage application process for complex loans.
• Approve or deny real estate loan applications based on thorough analysis and communicate decisions.
• Coordinate payment of title company fees for title searches, appraisals, and closing documentation.
• Train new mortgage loan officers and provide ongoing guidance to junior staff.
