Peak Credit Union is seeking a mortgage loan originator to serve members in Oregon and Washington, primarily remote with focus on the Portland/Vancouver markets. Travel is required for this role.

You will originate conventional, construction, government, and home equity loans, guiding members through the full process. 2+ years of originations experience and NMLS certification are preferred. Base salary is $42,000 with an incentive plan and uncapped potential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of mortgage originations experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAFE Act, TRID, HUD guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Introduce and evaluate member loan needs.
• Originates conventional, construction, government, and home equity mortgages.
• Monitor loan processing and gather required documents.
• Ensure compliance disclosures before processing.
• Develop referral networks with branches, realtors, and builders.
