Job summary

BCU is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to grow community mortgage production through builder and agent networking and proactive outreach. The role emphasizes real estate partnerships, seminars, and ongoing client engagement to achieve annual sales and service goals.

Responsibilities include lead generation, weekly agent outreach, and collaboration with processing and underwriting teams, using Salesforce to monitor progress and performance.

Responsibilities

• Generate mortgage loans from the defined community area by establishing and growing real estate agent relationships.
• Make weekly calls to well established agents in the community and perform lunch and learns to share BCU products and services.
• Daily use of Salesforce to track all activity including current and future leads and opportunities.
• Establish strong working relationships with the operations team including processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Promote credit union mortgage products and services by hosting a minimum of 6 on‑site seminars, webinars.
