Job summary

Greystar in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the on-site team in overseeing daily financial and operations tasks for the apartment community.

You will handle rent collection, invoices, bank deposits, and reporting using Yardi/OneSite, while ensuring lease terms are enforced and residents’ needs are addressed promptly. This role requires communication, organization, and a customer-service mindset for leasing and community performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in Business/Management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in property management or residence life is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and other payments; processes deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) and ensures data integrity.
• Reviews resident files to determine delinquencies; enforces lease terms and collects on balances.
• Reviews invoices; coordinates with vendors, accounting, and owners for payment.
• Assists in evictions per policy and legal requirements; handles move-outs and deposits.
