Job summary

Akin Family Resource Center in Washington state seeks a Family Resource Specialist to greet participants, assist with resource access, and provide program information in a busy community setting.

The role involves data entry, referrals to internal and external resources, and light clerical work to support daily FRC operations. In-person duties and evening/weekend support may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in social or human services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants and assist access to concrete resources.
• Provide information about Akin programs and external resources.
• Enter data on visits and inventory for reporting.
• Refer participants to Family Navigation and other programs.
• Light clerical tasks to support FRC operations.
