Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Community/Property Manager to oversee a residential community in a manner that balances resident satisfaction with profitability. The role emphasizes professional engagement with residents and staff, maintaining service levels and driving effective operations across all functions.

The incumbent will manage budgeting, rent rolls, and annual planning while ensuring a high standard of resident services, vendor partnerships, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Proven ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns without escalation.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident relations and customer service to ensure positive experiences throughout the resident life-cycle from move-in to move-out.
• Oversee budgeting, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals to achieve financial targets.
• Prepare monthly reports and financials; coordinate with Regional Manager on the annual operating budget.
• Coordinate on-site operations and supervise staff to achieve performance goals.
• Resolve resident concerns promptly, maintain confidentiality, and serve as advocate in communications with leadership.
