Job summary

Ackermann Group is seeking a dedicated Community Manager for Riverchase Apartments in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will lead leasing and maintenance teams, drive occupancy and financial performance, and coordinate with leadership on marketing and operations to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

This full-time role requires strong communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of property management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management or relevant leadership experience.
• A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Proven ability to meet financial goals for a community.
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strategic awareness of community needs related to facilities and performance.
• Collaborate with Recruiter and Regional Manager on recruitment and interviews.
• Provide leadership and supervision for leasing and maintenance teams; set performance goals.
• Create site-level meeting framework to support clear, consistent team communication.
• Serve as decision-maker for resident and prospect feedback and concerns.
• Use property management software and reporting to manage occupancy and financial performance.
• Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategy implementation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
