Job summary

ICT SOS invites an energetic Events & Community Engagement Specialist to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising and awareness events. You will secure sponsorships, coordinate volunteers, and partner with leadership to grow ICT SOS's donor base.

The role supports signature events such as the Gala and Race 4 Freedom, while building new concepts and opportunities to extend ICT SOS's reach in the community. A part-time schedule with potential growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit management, event planning, marketing or communications.
• 2–4 years of experience in event planning, sponsorship development, fundraising, or volunteer coordination; nonprofit experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success planning and executing events from large galas to intimate donor gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ICT SOS's signature fundraising events, including the Gala and Race 4 Freedom, from concept through post‑event evaluation.
• Develop budgets, run‑of‑show documents, and vendor contracts; monitor expenses against budgets.
• Secure venues, caterers, entertainment, auctions, and other vendors for events.
• Coordinate donor cultivation events (Table of Six, Coffee & Conversation) in partnership with leadership.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and schedule volunteers; manage volunteer hours and reports.
• Develop event marketing materials and social media content with the Communications Coordinator.
