Job summary

Kairoi seeks a thoughtful Community Director to lead a multifamily community in Austin. You will oversee resident relations, team development, financial performance, and property upkeep, while driving NOI growth and ensuring exceptional service.

You will recruit and coach staff, manage budgets and reporting, enforce regulatory compliance, and partner with regional leaders to deliver a best-in-class living experience for residents.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in multifamily or related hospitality field.
• Proven track record of leading a team in multifamily.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in property management software.
• CAM or IREM certifications are desirable.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and regular check-ins with associates.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and empowerment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and emergency procedures.
• Lead marketing, resident relations, and retention initiatives.
• Manage budget preparation, financial reporting, and NOI growth.
• Oversee property maintenance and vendor management.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, financials, and metrics.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
