Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago in Naperville is seeking a Community Concierge to greet members, answer inquiries, and help guests discover opportunities within our programs and services. You will actively interact with community members, provide solutions, and support them in engaging with the Y.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to complete YMCA training and certifications within the required timeframe.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phones and email inquiries.
• Actively manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations with Community Hub leadership to keep spaces clean.
• Anticipate individuals' needs and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed.
• Ensure front desk operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct hub tours and promote memberships.
