Job summary

Foglia YMCA in Illinois is hiring a Community Concierge to greet guests, answer inquiries, and guide members to services. Shifts start at 4:45am and run through 9:30am, with opportunities for growth within the YMCA.

You will interact with community members, manage front desk tasks, tours, and memberships, and help keep spaces clean and welcoming. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Earned high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed.
• Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phones and email inquiries.
• Actively manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations by partnering with local Community Hub leadership to ensure community spaces are clean at all times.
• Anticipate individuals' needs to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock, as needed.
• Ensure front desk operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct hub tours for prospective customers; sell memberships.

Community Concierge team members serve as the face of the Y and support a best-in-class experience for our customers. You will actively interact and engage with community members, provide solutions and offerings, and support them in discovering opportunities at the YMCA.

Salary starts at $17.05 per hour and opportunities to grow within the organization

Scope and Responsibility
