Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is hiring a Community Concierge, Manager on Duty at Fry YMCA in Naperville, IL. This part-time role focuses on front-desk leadership, customer service, safety, and guiding visitors to available programs.

You'll greet guests, answer inquiries, manage transactions, support facility operations, and ensure a welcoming environment while maintaining safety standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty and provide front-desk leadership.
• Greet community members and guests and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Monitor hub for safety and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Answer phones and emails and manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations and coordinate with leadership to maintain spaces and record maintenance.
• Anticipate guests' needs to provide an exceptional experience.
