Job summary

Rauner Family YMCA in Chicago is seeking a part-time Community Concierge to greet members, answer inquiries, and support daily operations. You will actively engage with the community, process transactions, and help maintain clean, welcoming spaces across the facility.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

You will actively interact and engage with community members, provide solutions and offerings, and support them in discovering opportunities at the YMCA.**Essential Job Requirements & Duties:*** Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged* Answer phone and email inquiries* Actively manage customer transactions* Support facility operations by partnering with local Community Hub leadership to ensure community spaces are clean at all times* Anticipate individuals needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional customer experience* Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock, as needed* Other duties as assigned**Child Abuse Prevention**Supports the YMCA's commitment to child abuse prevention by:* Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor* Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children* Reporting any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor* Completing all child abuse prevention training as required**Commitment to Inclusion**Supports the YMCA's commitment to inclusion of all members as required by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
