Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks a Commercial Banker to develop and manage relationships with midsize businesses in its community. You will target companies with revenues between $10-$35mm and coordinate with partners to fulfill borrowing, deposit and cash management needs.

The role may be filled as Banker I or II based on experience, with responsibilities spanning growth, credit underwriting and strategic referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience in commercial or business lending, or a high school diploma with extensive lending experience.
• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills.
• Sales planning, forecasting and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Grow bank relationships through business loans, deposits and fee income.
• Engage with local business owners to develop lending opportunities.
• Represent the bank at community and networking events.
• Support efficient loan approval processes with credit partners.
• Collaborate with bank partners to deepen client relationships.
