Job summary

First Citizens Bank in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Commercial Banker I or II to acquire and manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships for companies in the 10–35 million revenue range. You will be the primary contact for borrowing needs, work with sales partners, and build full banking relationships in the local community.

The role supports growth through loans, deposits and fee income, leveraging COIs, and engaging in community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in Commercial or business lending, credit or business development.
• Commercial Banker II: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Commercial or business lending, credit or business development.
• Additional requirements: business development experience, financial analysis and credit underwriting skills, knowledge of commercial lending, deposit and cash management solutions, ability to provide financial guidance and expertise, sales planning and forecasting experience.
• Preferred qualifications: established COIs and referral sources.

As a Commercial Banker at First Citizens Bank you will carry on our tradition of developing and expanding relationships with business owners in your community to help them meet their financial goals.

This position is responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of commercial banking relationships. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources for companies between $10-$35mm in annual revenues. Is the primary contact for borrowing needs and provides subject matter expertise for deposit and cash flow management needs. This position works with various sales partners to build and manage full banking relationships.

This position may be filled as a Commercial Banker I or II based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
