Job summary

ServiceSource Inc seeks an Employment Development Specialist to create community employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the Northern Virginia area. You will partner with job seekers, assess strengths, and connect them with local employers.

Responsibilities include job coaching, post-employment support, and collaboration with SE teams. The role requires local travel and a flexible schedule; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, marketing, or related field preferred.
• One year of related human service experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred and Spanish/Hispanic culture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide job development services to help find employment matching interests and strengths.
• Conduct intakes, inventories, and assessments to establish employment goals.
• Provide post-employment services including coaching and travel training.
• Develop relationships with businesses and community partners.
• Complete monthly billing and case notes with accuracy.
