ServiceSource Inc. in Virginia is seeking a part-time Employment Development Specialist (20-24 hours/week) to help people with disabilities find and advance community employment. You will partner with job seekers, build employer relationships, and provide job coaching and workplace support.

The role emphasizes community outreach, coaching, and career development with travel across the Northern Virginia area. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; one year of related experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum one year of related human service experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
• Local travel up to 50% in the Northern Virginia area.
• Flexible hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Fluency in a second language (ASL or Spanish) preferred.
• Marketing or sales skills preferred.
• Case management or documentation knowledge preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct intakes, inventories, and assessments to establish employment goals.
• Provide job development to match careers with strengths and support needs.
• Provide post-employment services including job coaching and travel training.
• Develop relationships with businesses, community partners, and outside vendors.
• Complete monthly billing reports, participant reports, and case notes as required.
• Perform task and job-site analyses to assure appropriate matches.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team processes and annual support plans.
