Job summary

ServiceSource in Arlington, VA seeks an Employment Readiness Specialist for our Day Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities. This role helps participants build employment skills and transition to community jobs through engaging sessions and workplace experiences.

You will partner with families, educators, and employers, manage documentation, ensure CARF-compliant processes, and support career exploration within a weekday schedule. Join a compassionate team making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year experience with people with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.
• Experience with supported employment is preferred.
• Experience in training is preferred.
• Experience building partnerships with community organizations and employers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct engaging group sessions to support skill growth.
• Support participants in work experiences with community employers.
• Gather feedback and update curriculum topics and activities.
• Maintain partnerships with participants' support teams and community partners.
• Complete documentation and maintain CARF-compliant records.
• Transport participants to employment sites; travel in the area.
