Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking an Employment Support Professional (PRN) to assist adults with mental health diagnoses and developmental disabilities in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment within their community. This role emphasizes individualized plans, skills training, and community partnerships, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to obtain and maintain competitive employment in the community.
• Develop individualized dream plans and provide skills training to help meet employment goals.
• Identify partner organizations for volunteer and employment opportunities and maintain relationships with them.
• Explain how earned income may affect benefits and discuss disclosure preferences with employers.
• Coordinate services to create an integrated employment plan and provide follow-along support.
• Perform job development activities and IPS-based placement.
• Travel and driving may be required.
