Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Universal Banker for our Morganton, NC branch to deliver friendly member service and handle cash. You will open new accounts, process deposits and loan payments, answer inquiries, and promote credit union products based on member needs.

Work with MSR duties, balance cash drawers, and assist with mortgage loan referrals. Strong communication, detail orientation, and ability to build relationships are essential. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years retail banking including cash handling and opening accounts preferred.
• Able to open accounts, process deposits/withdrawals, and reference products.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide friendly, professional service.
• Open new membership accounts and promote products.
