Job summary

Self-Help-Inc is seeking a Universal Banker for the Wilmington, CA area. You will manage the full consumer loan process, guiding applicants from interview to closing while ensuring disclosures comply with policy.

You will greet members, open accounts, promote credit union services, handle cash and teller duties, and support balancing and vault responsibilities as part of a two-person control team. Bilinguals are preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency preferred, verbal and written.
• 3–5 years of banking or consumer lending experience.
• Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the consumer loan process from initiation through closing, interviewing applicants and determining eligibility.
• Greet members, assist and open consumer/business accounts; promote products per member needs.
• Open/close and balance cash drawer; process cash/credit transactions; perform teller duties daily.
