Bank of Bird-in-Hand is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support walk-in customers in our Bird in Hand, PA location. You will address inquiries, process transactions, and assist with opening deposit accounts, funds transfers, and routine requests while maintaining exceptional service.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, communication, and teamwork to uphold our commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous banking experience is strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of customer support experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Experience with sales techniques or cross-selling/upselling is advantageous.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately when applicable.
• Proven ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent typing skills.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with inquiries and product/service information.
• Process transactions and deposit account openings for customers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to in-person inquiries and resolve issues.
• Provide outstanding support across routine account-related requests (transfers, AFTs, stop payments, service charges).
