Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Community Banker in Cedar Rapids, IA to deliver excellent client service while handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. You will answer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote bank products tailored to client needs.

This role requires cash handling experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including Saturdays and occasional travel between branches. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in banking, client service, or related field with cash handling.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Accurate data entry using banking software and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions professionally following policies and procedures.
• Accept payments for financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Handle cashier's checks, certified checks, EE bonds and money orders; process stop payments and change orders.
• Balance cash drawer according to procedures and report differences.
• Maintain security and properly document and record transactions; comply with IRS forms for large currency reporting.
• Protect confidentiality and safekeep sensitive client information and instruments.
• Balance cash vault per procedures.
• Process foreign currency requests.
• Identify potential fraud accounts and take preventive action.
• Support ATM balancing securely and accurately.
• Follow procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products and refer clients appropriately.
• Promote banking products and services to the community.
• Answer client questions and provide resolutions.
• Quote deposit rates when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team for positive banking experience.
• Comply with company policies and culture.
• Assist with client outreach and support company culture.
• Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
