Job summary

Associa in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee up to 12 communities (HOA, Condos, Townhomes). You will serve as the liaison among homeowners, the Board, and committees to ensure well‑cared-for communities and well‑managed daily operations.

The role starts onsite for six months, then moves to a hybrid arrangement. You will manage budgets, financial reporting, vendor relations, board meetings, and governance compliance, with CMCA consideration within the first year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with community associations or in multifamily/leasing/vacation rental industries.
• Understanding of relationship among Board of Directors, homeowners, and management company.
• Willingness to obtain CMCA within first year, company paid.
• Customer service driven and team oriented with a consultative approach.
• Understanding of financial documents.
• Effective project management and ability to juggle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 12 communities (HOA, Condos, Townhomes) in Glen Allen, VA.
• Create and manage budgets; review financial reports and reserves.
• Coordinate monthly and annual board meetings; prepare board packages.
• Source vendors, manage RFPs, and capital projects.
• Manage communications with homeowners via mail and email.
• Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and board decisions.
• Issue violation letters and follow up on corrections.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce Board policies.
