CAMS (Community Association Management Services) invites you to join as a Community Associate (Manager in Training) in a full-time salaried role. You will shadow managers, learn to manage a portfolio, and progress toward becoming a community manager as you gain knowledge and experience.

The path includes mentorship, cross-department exposure, and on-site observations. Typical duties include coordinating with boards, preparing budgets, analyzing financials, and supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to review and analyze financial reports.
• Understanding of budgeting and contractual bidding processes.
• Knowledge of meeting order and board procedures.
• Familiarity with the architectural request process.
• Ability to create and maintain a working budget.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an open line of communication with boards of directors and homeowners.
• Prepare and present budgets to your boards.
• Analyze monthly financial reports and create variance reports for your boards.
• Create monthly management reports.
• Contact and coordinate with vendors for community maintenance projects.
• Oversee daily operations of your portfolio of communities.
• Attend board meetings and internal team meetings.
• Supervise administrative and maintenance staff when applicable.
