Cedarhurst of Shawnee is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities and programs. You will support planning, coordination, and oversight of the community life enrichment calendar, collaborating with residents, families, and staff.

The role emphasizes social engagement, physical and cognitive stimulation, and emotional wellbeing, with opportunities to lead events, create meaningful life stories, and contribute to a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading community activities and events.
• Introduce new residents to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Contribute to resident life stories and assessments.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments.
• Communicate with families about residents' care and wellbeing.
