Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents, promoting social engagement, physical and cognitive activity, creativity, and emotional well-being.

You will plan and lead community activities, assist with new resident introductions, coordinate holiday displays, contribute to Life Stories assessments, and work with families and staff to reflect resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid bus driving license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and EHR/HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead community activities, events, and celebrations.
• Introduce new residents to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist with Life Stories and resident assessments.
• Maintain activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst portal.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments.
• Communicate effectively with families about residents’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management to support residents and teamwork.
