Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and facilitate activities that promote social engagement, cognitive and physical stimulation, and emotional wellbeing for residents. The role reports to the Life Enrichment Director and includes weekend work and driving the community bus for outings and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license to operate community bus or able to obtain within 30 days.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web platforms, EHR systems and HR-related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and leading community activities and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist in Life Stories and resident assessments.
• Record activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst's electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families about care and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management, resolve conflicts when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
