Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents’ quality of life through a comprehensive enrichment program. You will plan and facilitate activities, events, and experiences that promote social engagement, cognitive and physical stimulation, and emotional wellbeing.

You will partner with residents, families, and staff to reflect individual interests and life stories. You will report to the Life Enrichment Director and contribute to a collaborative team,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver's license with ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, web platforms, electronic health record systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, holidays, and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist in Life Stories and resident assessments.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and staff about care and wellbeing.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings and participate in team activities.
