Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti seeks a Community Manager to design and run the firmwide Communities of Practice program, connecting technical experts with practice leaders and driving durable knowledge across offices. You will support leaders, enable communities, and translate CoP activities into measurable learning and staff development impact, working with IT, Learning & Development, CORE, and practice leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, information science, communications, organizational learning, business or related field; equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in community management, knowledge management, learning and development, or related operations.
• Proven ability to build/sustain communities and work with senior technical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern a firmwide CoP strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Maintain CoP operating model and governance for leaders, co-leaders and core teams.
• Build a roster of active/dormant CoPs and track performance.
• Support CoP Leaders with priority setting, obstacles, and succession planning.
• Design and deliver an annual CoP Leaders’ Summit and cross-CoP forums.
