Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Communication Services Representative to answer and route calls, page physicians, and provide information to patients and families. This role requires handling class registrations and physician referrals and may include dispatch duties for other departments.

Strong English communication, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are preferred. Prior telephone or customer service experience is beneficial, and a high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and connect calls for physicians, personnel and families.
• Page physicians and provide patient information as needed.
• Handle class registrations and physician referrals as part of call center duties.
• May serve as Dispatcher for Safety and Security, Maintenance or other offsite locations.
