Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a dispatcher to manage incoming and outgoing calls, page physicians, and assist with patient information and referrals. You may also support other departments and locations as a Dispatcher for Safety, Security, and Maintenance.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong English communication, with beneficial customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in telephone or customer service is beneficial.
• Must be able to navigate multiple computer software systems simultaneously.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and connect calls as needed.
• Page physicians and obtain needed information for callers.
• Provide patient information and assist with class registrations and referrals.
• Potentially serve as Dispatcher for other departments as needed.
