Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead HV substation and BESS commissioning across nationwide utility-scale projects.

The role requires planning, executing, and coordinating commissioning activities on multiple sites with safety and quality as priorities. The position is hybrid, with on-site presence at job sites and partial remote work; travel to project locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale facilities.
• Experience with HV substations or BESS preferred.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional field teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy project access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope on 2-3 projects.
• Develop commissioning execution plan and schedule.
• Translate requirements into executable scope and plan.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites are met.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, and contractors.
• Track progress and report to leadership.
