Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage the commissioning of utility-scale solar, battery storage, and substation projects nationwide. The role requires coordinating with project execution teams, owner’s project managers, site engineers, and safety to ensure all tests and energization meet contractual requirements.

The position is hybrid with on-site presence at job sites and some remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive commissioning experience for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ownership of project scope including schedule, resources, risks, and delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning scope across HV or BESS projects, including milestones, schedule, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain a commissioning execution plan and deliverables register.
• Translate contracts and specifications into executable commissioning scope.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites are complete before testing.
• Coordinate field teams, third-party testers, and witness requirements.
