Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and management of commissioning for utility-scale solar, battery storage, and substation projects nationwide.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence at job sites with partial remote work; you will coordinate with owners, EPC teams, and field technicians to ensure tests, energization, and turnover meet contract requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning/startup experience on utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Proven project management across scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong knowledge of HV substations or BESS commissioning sequences.
• Ability to read IFC drawings, one-lines, control narratives and OEM manuals.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 projects.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plan, milestones, deliverables register.
• Translate contract requirements, specs, interconnection requirements into executable scope.
• Establish priorities and escalate safety, contractual, or scheduling issues.
• Track progress and provide daily/weekly reporting to project leadership.
