Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead the commissioning phase for utility-scale solar, battery storage, SCADA, and substation projects nationwide. The role requires coordinating with owner’s project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure the commissioning plan is executed safely and on contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience with HV substations or BESS commissioning preferred.
• Strong ability to read contracts, specs, drawings, and interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2-3 projects with deliverables, milestones, schedule, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain a commissioning execution plan, deliverables register, and resource forecast.
• Translate contract and technical requirements into executable commissioning scope and plan.
• Raise safety, contract, technical, or schedule issues to leadership for action.
• Lead daily and weekly reporting to commissioning and project leadership.
• Coordinate readiness reviews and ensure prerequisite completion before energization.
