Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage the commissioning of utility-scale solar, battery storage, SCADA, and HV substations nationwide. The role focuses on delivering contracted commissioning scope with rigorous readiness, documentation, and turnover processes.

You will lead readiness reviews, coordinate field teams, and ensure safety and quality while interfacing with owner’s project managers, EPC teams, and stakeholders to achieve a smooth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years with commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience with HV substations or BESS commissioning and ownership of technical scope.
• Ability to read contracts, specs, IFC drawings, and interconnection requirements.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Proven track record coordinating multiple concurrent projects and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2-3 concurrent projects, including milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, readiness criteria, and schedules.
• Translate contract requirements into executable commissioning work plans and tests.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites are complete before testing or energization.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, and third parties; manage testing, troubleshooting, and closure.
