Job summary

Ultipro in Madison, WI is seeking an accounting professional to enter and reconcile sales transactions, commissions, and related records. The role supports month-end closings and responds to commission inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.

You will review contracts, process payments, and help maintain essential accounting files while coordinating with sales managers to ensure accurate compensation terms. A strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
• Associate's in accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process new and closed sales transactions/contracts. (60-70%)
• Review and record open contracts; receive checks and balance cash.
• Calculate, verify, enter, and distribute commission funds.
• Process open contract cancellations; maintain files and prepare reports.
• Complete month-end reconciliations; may enter miscellaneous journal entries.
• Respond to commission questions; research discrepancies; guide staff as needed.
• Process accounts receivable charges and payments; reconcile statements.
• Maintain escrow information and commission-related records.
