Job summary

TRICOR Insurance in Wisconsin seeks an Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting team. You will support direct bill commission reconciliations, carrier download activity, bank reconciliations, deposits, and month-end close processes, ensuring records are accurate and complete.

You’ll work with internal teams and carrier data to identify discrepancies and maintain the integrity of financial records. This fast-paced role rewards attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and understanding of accounting basics.
• Experience with agency management or accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile direct bill commission statements and payments and review carrier data.
• Research discrepancies, missing transactions, and differences in records.
• Troubleshoot carrier download activity to ensure accurate commission data.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Prepare and record deposits for client payments and commissions.
• Support month-end close and maintain documentation in accounting systems.
