Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years in accounting; related industry experience helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; team player.

Responsibilities

• Process new and closed sales transactions and commissions.
• Review and record open contracts.
• Receive checks and balance with cash; deposit funds.
• Calculate, verify, enter, and distribute commission funds.
• Process open contract cancellations.
• Maintain files and prepare reports.
• Complete month-end reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Respond to commission questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and reconcile escrow information as needed.
• Assist with accounts receivable and reconciling statements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
