Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate self-generated residential mortgage loans by building relationships with real estate professionals and builders. You will manage each loan file from application through post-closing, ensuring compliance with SAFE Act and TILA/Reg Z requirements.

In this role, you will develop marketing plans, maintain excellent customer service, and expand referral sources to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Interviews borrowers to analyze financial data and financing objectives.
• Develops and executes business development and marketing plans.
• Keeps up to date on lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Originate self-generated residential mortgage loans; engage in activities off-site.
• Manage loan file through underwriting, closing, funding and post-closing.
• Coach others and promote Columbia corporate culture.
