Job summary

Truist Mortgage is seeking a driven sales-focused professional to market loan products and refer clients to other bank services. You will operate within bank policies, targeting production goals and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, client needs assessment, and cross-sell opportunities while functioning primarily in a commission-based structure with potential salary draw.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of banking or lending experience with knowledge of residential property types.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and applicable laws.
• Provide mortgage clients sound advice based on client needs and products.
• Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen opportunities.
• Assist with client/appraiser/document follow-up as needed.
