Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Sales professional in the Virginia Beach area to drive marketing and referrals for Truist Mortgage Loan products. This role is commission-based, with a possible salary draw, and focused on meeting mortgage production goals while adhering to bank policies.

You will provide mortgage advice based on client needs, participate in referrals to other bank solutions, and support loan fulfillment activities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in banking and/or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with relevant computer applications.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing plans to meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mortgage advisory services based on client needs and product benefits.
• Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen opportunities.
• Assist with mortgage loan fulfillment and document follow-up.
