Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to provide an outstanding customer experience while creating accurate repair estimates and coordinating with customers and insurance companies throughout the process.

The Estimator assesses vehicle damage, documents needed repairs, and works with the team to meet KPIs for the repair facility. A strong understanding of DRP workflows and insurance procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines is not explicitly stated here, but the role involves detailing damages and coordination with repair processes.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with DRP processes or similar repair shop workflows.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training and maintain knowledge of insurance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide customers with timely information and guide them through the repair process
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and DRP processes
• Coordinate with WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repairs, communication, and delivery
• Communicate customer requests to the appropriate team members
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and over the phone
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily production walks with management
• Support team members as needed
• Attend health, safety meetings and recommended workshops
