Qualifications

• Internal – 3 years Huntsville Utilities Customer Care or administrative Operations experience required.
• External – 5 years’ experience in Commercial Banking, Real Estate, Local Government, Apartment Leasing, or Residential Construction required.
• Knowledge of NiSC, NiSC Cash Desk, and Sinch preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist non-residential customers with connect, disconnect, transfer, modify and maintain services across multiple channels.
• Provide customers with account status, billing history, and help with high-bill inquiries and meter readings.
• Coordinate with departments to advise on utility services, deposits, and new service orders.
• Maintain complete customer files and ensure accurate records in NiSC.
• Promote positive customer goodwill and represent Huntsville Utilities in meetings and events.
