Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to act as the primary liaison for end-to-end processes across multiple Commercial product lines, including ETRM, Market Pricing & Rates, and End Product Sales Forecast.

The role partners with business leaders and technology teams to validate requirements, build business cases, and drive optimization across Marathon Petroleum’s Commercial applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems preferred or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Commercial applications such as RightAngle or ETRM platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing administration and support for Commercial application product lines.
• Partners with stakeholders to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
• Defines business processes to measure, analyze, and improve performance.
• Communicates requirements clearly and notes cross-functional impacts for solutions.
• Develops recommendations for system enhancements and optimization.
• Performs cost-benefit and ROI analyses to inform decisions.
• Supports implementation of improved working processes and IT service practices.
• Coordinates test case development and strategy for technology delivery.
• Plans and documents user stories to support prototypes and wireframes.
