Job summary

Marathon Petroleum seeks a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the liaison for end-to-end processes across multiple Commercial product lines, including ETRM and Market Pricing. You’ll partner with business leaders and delivery teams to define requirements and drive improvements.

Hybrid collaboration across functions, delivering value through structured analysis, change readiness, and solutions that align with business priorities. 2+ years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred, related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience supporting Commercial applications such as RightAngle, other ETRM platforms, Sales Data Flows, Market Pricing and Rates solutions, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing administration and operational support for Commercial application product lines.
• Troubleshoots incidents with stakeholders and external providers to ensure reliable performance.
• Defines business processes to measure, analyze, and improve performance.
• Communicates requirements clearly and identifies cross-functional impacts for solutions.
• Develops recommendations for system enhancements and alternatives.
• Performs cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems.
• Supports test case development and user story planning for technology delivery.
